The Muslim Waqf insists that its own committee investigate why the stone fell off. Israel needs to take back the handling, control, and maintenance of the walls of the Temple Mount. If more stones from the Western Wall fall, or if the Temple Mount and its mosques are damaged, Israel will be held responsible.
