(Financial Times-UK) Michael Peel - SWIFT, the international financial messaging system, said Monday it will comply with restored U.S. sanctions on Iran, in a blow to EU efforts to defy Washington's action. Belgian-based SWIFT said: "In keeping with our mission of supporting the resilience and integrity of the global financial system as a global and neutral service provider, SWIFT is suspending certain Iranian banks' access to the messaging system.
