(Jerusalem Post) Anna Ahronheim - 1,000 rockets and mortars were fired from Gaza into Israel over the past year, a dramatic rise from the past three years when there were 71 in total. 250 were intercepted by Israel's Iron Dome missile defense system and 45 fell in urban areas.
