(Media Line-Ynet News) Prof. Hillel Frisch of the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies at Bar-Ilan University contends that while the Jordanian government uses anti-Israel rhetoric to appease segments of its population, it does not want an independent Palestinian state which "would be a threat to the Jordanian monarchy."
