Frantzman - A series of statements by U.S. officials over the last week have indicated the depth of concern in Washington and Baghdad about Iran exploiting tensions in Iraq to fire at U.S. troops. Since May, bases in Iraq where U.S. forces are located have come under attack. There was a lull in attacks over the summer and then they began again in September.
