(Ynet News) Israel is to release two Golan Druze inmates to Syria as part of a swap deal that saw Russia return the body of long-missing IDF soldier Zachary Baumel from Syria to Israel earlier this year, the Israel Prison Service confirmed on Thursday. Sidqi al-Maqt, 53, from Majdal Shams, was sentenced to 11 years for spying on IDF activity in the Golan Heights for the Syrian government. Amal Abu Salah, 26, also from Majdal Shams, was sentenced to 7 years for killing a Syrian national who was being taken to an Israeli hospital.
