(Times of Israel) Michael Bachner - Israel on Tuesday chose Eden Alene, 19, as its representative for the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest. Alene, who won Israel's X-Factor reality show in 2018 and on Tuesday won "The Next Star," will be the first singer of Ethiopian origin to represent Israel in the contest.
