1,300 French Jews Have Died of Covid-19

(JTA) Cnaan Liphshiz - At least 1,300 members of France's Jewish community have died of Covid-19, the French Chevra Kadisha burial service said. Hundreds have been flown to be buried in Israel. Jews make up about 5% of the Covid-19 fatalities recorded in France, a death toll six times larger than their share of the population.
