(Asharq Al-Awsat-UK) After the Palestinian Authority informed Israel last week that it was halting security coordination, the Israeli army leadership in the West Bank said it is preparing for the new situation. Sources confirmed that Defense Minister Benny Gantz has been initiating contacts with Palestinian officials to ensure the new situation will not lead to escalation and clashes.
