(Jerusalem Post) Tovah Lazaroff - There were 17 pro-Palestinian or anti-Israel resolutions approved by the UN General Assembly in 2020, down from 18 in 2019 and 21 in 2018. A resolution affirming the work of a special committee to investigate alleged Israeli human rights abuses was approved 76-14, with 83 abstentions. In 2019 it passed 82-11, 78. In both instances, more nations abstained or voted against, than approved it. Both France and the UK voted against Israel 11 times.
