(Jerusalem Post) Sarah Chemla - Following the attack on an Israeli-owned cargo vessel in the Gulf of Oman on Feb. 25, Israel's Ambassador to the UN Gilad Erdan filed an official complaint with the UN Security Council on Tuesday blaming Iran for the attack. A blast above the water line ripped holes in both sides of its hull, a U.S. official said. An Israeli official said limpet mines were used. Erdan emphasized that Israel has the right and will "take all necessary measures to protect its citizens.
