(Maariv-Jerusalem Post) Tal Lev Ram - While Israeli Muslims are exempt from the draft, they may volunteer for army service. The IDF reported that 606 Muslim Israelis joined the IDF in 2020, compared to 489 in 2019 and 436 in 2018. More than half went to combat units.
