(Jerusalem Post) Yonah Jeremy Bob - Attacks on Natanz (twice), Karaj and Fakhrizadeh fundamentally change Iranian and American perspectives on returning to the Iran nuclear deal. Washington's premise had been that there was no way to stop Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon besides the diplomatic solution of the 2015 deal. But the four (known) attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities and officials have hobbled the Islamic Republic's nuclear program far more than most realize, and they have succeeded without a major cost to either Israel or the U.S. Indeed, the series of attacks has shown how deeply vulnerable Iran is to sabotage and targeted killing. The U.S., Iran and Israel all know this. Biden administration officials are starting to consider whether it might be possible to keep Iran's nuclear program "in a box" for a very extended period even without the JCPOA. 2021-07-26 00:00:00Full Article
