Shalev - Anti-Zionism is distinct from critique or criticism of the State of Israel in that it posits that the State of Israel is fundamentally illegitimate and must ultimately be dismantled. Anti-Zionism holds that the Jewish national movement is unlike any other nationalist movement. Anti-Zionism frequently employs classical anti-Semitic tropes and attaches anti-Jewish stereotypes to the State of Israel, its citizens and supporters.
