There have been attempts to smuggle more than 600 million pills from Lebanon in the past six years - hidden in shipments of pomegranates, pasta, cocoa, and mechanical equipment. In 2006, when the war with Israel drained Hizbullah financially, Iran equipped it with labs for drug manufacturing.
