(Gatestone Institute) Khaled Abu Toameh - Like many Palestinians and Arabs, the Iranian-backed Hamas movement sees the Russia-Ukraine war as evidence of the weakness of the Biden administration and the end of the status of the U.S. as the world's sole superpower. As far as Hamas is concerned, the weaker the U.S., the greater are their chances of fulfilling their goal of replacing Israel with an Islamic state. The Americans need to understand that no matter how many gifts they give to the Palestinians, that will not stop Hamas and many others from continuing to hate the U.S. The only way for the Americans to deal with Muslim extremists is by not showing any sign of weakness or appeasement.
