David Hacham, a senior research associate at the MirYam Institute and a former advisor on Arab affairs to seven Israeli defense ministers. Addressing Sunday's regional summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, designed to secure a de-escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Hacham said the talks were "divorced from the reality on the ground."
