(Ha'aretz) Jonathan Lis - Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen concluded his visit to Azerbaijan on Wednesday where he discussed regional security issues, before inaugurating the first Israeli embassy in Turkmenistan, 20 km. from the Iranian border. Diplomatic sources say that Israel's strengthened relations with two countries that border Iran is largely intended to convey a message to Tehran. The relationships are largely built on common concern over Iran's growing influence in the region.
