(Newsweek) Tom O'Connor - Israel is concerned that weapons provided by the U.S. and other Western nations to Ukraine will end up in the hands of Israel's foes in the Middle East, including Iran. A high-ranking IDF commander told Newsweek that the diversion of weapons, such as the Javelin shoulder-fired anti-tank missile system, was being monitored. Israel was concerned that Iran "can research capabilities, and then learn how to manufacture them....The other problem is that we are very worried that some of these capabilities are going to fall into Hizbullah and Hamas' hands....We see the signs [of diversion], and this is very, very troubling."
