(MEMRI) After the June 3, 2023, shooting of three Israeli soldiers on the Israel-Egypt border by an Egyptian border guard, the PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida wrote in an editorial that the attack proved that peace and normalization agreements with Israel have not caused the Arab masses to forget their hatred for that country. Social media accounts affiliated with Fatah, the ruling party in the PA, likewise posted many messages glorifying the perpetrator.
