(Jerusalem Post) Lilac Sigan - A study of the New York Times coverage of Israel in the first quarter of 2023 found that 67% of the 148 articles published were negative, while 4.7% were positive (the remaining 28.3% were neutral). During the second quarter, out of 89 articles, 57% were negative, 8% were positive, and 35% were neutral. After the Jenin operation in July, the Times published a long article headed "Young Palestinians drawn into the struggle against Israel are writing farewell messages to their loved ones."
