(Ha'aretz) Amos Harel - Israel took the risk of conducting searches in Al-Shifa Hospital in the heart of Gaza City on Wednesday to signal that there is no place its forces fear to enter and there is no place Hamas can feel safe. The raid on the hospital appears to have been preceded by understandings reached with the U.S. to undertake only a limited action and ensure the safety of doctors and patients.
