(Axios) Barak Ravid - The IDF raided Syria in a ground operation on Sep. 8 and destroyed an underground precision missile factory built by Iran. Israel briefed the Biden administration in advance of the operation. The Iranians began building the underground facility in coordination with Hizbullah and Syria in 2018 after Israeli airstrikes destroyed most of the Iranian missile production infrastructure in Syria.
