(Ynet News) Yoav Zitun - The deadly attack at the Allenby Crossing on Sep. 8 in which three Israeli security guards were killed reminded us of the dangers from Israel's eastern border with Jordan. The IDF plans to secure the Jordanian border with a new unit, barriers and drones. The first stage will involve the deployment of hundreds of surveillance radars and cameras. Then, Israel will place forces that can reach any location quickly in case of infiltration or smuggling.
