(Ha'aretz) Josh Breiner - Seven people were killed and 11 others wounded in a shooting attack in Jaffa in central Israel on Tuesday. Six of the wounded are in serious condition. Police identified the assailants as Muhammad Khalef Saher Rajab and Hassan Muhammad Hassan Tamimi from Hebron in the West Bank. One of the assailants was armed with a rifle and the other with a knife. Footage from security cameras shows that the assailants came out of a nearby mosque, attacked passersby on Jerusalem Boulevard, and killed two of them. At least one of them boarded a light rail car, killed four passengers, and got off. The two were finally shot and neutralized. The attack occurred about 40 minutes before rocket sirens were activated in Jaffa due to the missile barrage from Iran. 2024-10-02 00:00:00Full Article
