Eliezer Marom, former commander of the Israel Navy, warned Sunday that President Trump's plan to end the war in Gaza could enable Hamas to simply seize power again. "We're looking at a scenario where Gaza would be governed by technocrats. It's essentially a disguise for reinstating the Palestinian Authority." "Hamas is pretending to step back, but in a few months they'll start shooting their replacements in the knees and throw them off the tallest remaining buildings in Gaza. They haven't changed.
