Oil Discovered in Egypt's Gulf of Suez
[AP/Forbes] UK-based Circle Oil and Premier Oil announced Friday they had struck oil in Egypt, with initial sustained production at over 3,000 barrels per day of crude and 4 million standard cubic feet per day of natural gas, 300 km. southeast of Cairo in the Gulf of Suez basin.
