Jordanian Islamists: Baker Report Indicative of Fading U.S. Influence
[Deutsche Presse-Agentur] Secretary General Zaki Bani Ershaid of the Islamic Action Front (IAF), Jordan's largest political party, on Saturday said the Baker Commission report "is indicative of the fading U.S. influence in the region." He urged the U.S. "to withdraw from the region, stop meddling in its internal affairs, and compensate the victims for their sufferings as a result of the U.S. occupation."
