Syria Building "Death Trap" Villages
[Jerusalem Post] Yaakov Katz - Villages recently built by Syria along the border with Israel are planned to be used as "death traps" for IDF troops in Hizballah-inspired attacks, says a high-ranking officer in the IDF's Northern Command. Since this summer's war in Lebanon, Syria has invested large amounts of money in replicating Hizballah military tactics, particularly in establishing additional commando units and fortifying its short- and long-range missile array.
