300,000 Palestinians Living in Chile

[Santiago Times-Chile] Gida Homad-Hamam - There are more than 300,000 people of Palestinian descent living in Chile, the largest Palestinian population outside the Arab world. Palestinians started arriving in Chile as early as the 1850s from primarily Christian towns such as Bethlehem, Beit Jala and Beit Sahour.
