Israel Asks U.S. to Continue Funding Arrow Anti-Missile System
[Jerusalem Post] Yaakov Katz - Defense Minister Ehud Barak urged a visiting delegation of U.S. congressmen Thursday to help Israel secure funding for the development and production of the Arrow 3 ballistic missile defense system. Israel is concerned that the U.S. will cut funding for the Arrow 3. Israel and the U.S. have been jointly funding the Arrow, developed by Israel Aerospace Industries and Boeing, since its inception in the late 1980s.
