Israel Says Jerusalem Construction Is Routine
[Reuters] Allyn Fisher-Ilan - An aide to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu on Wednesday said approval for new homes in Jerusalem was part of a routine building program. "Construction in Gilo has taken place regularly for dozens of years and there is nothing new about the current planning and construction." Some 40,000 Israelis live in the Gilo neighborhood.
