[Israel Defense Forces] Tal Moise - Staff Sergeant "A" is a child of parents who served in the South Lebanon Army (SLA). He escaped to Israel with his family when the IDF pulled out of Lebanon in 2000. Today he serves in the IDF as an aircraft technician and feels a sense of belonging to Israel. "I grew up here and I want to protect the place where my family lives....I lived here for almost ten years and throughout that entire time, IDF soldiers protected me; now it's my turn," he says. "I know of other sons of former SLA members who joined the army, as well as girls doing voluntary national service."
