Israel to Send Police to Haiti
(Jerusalem Post) Yaakov Lappin - Following a request from the U.S. and the UN, the Israel Police will send 100 armed officers to join the international peacekeeping force in Haiti, the Public Security Ministry announced on Wednesday. Last week, a delegation of Israel Police crime scene investigation specialists flew to Haiti to assist in the identification of earthquake casualties.
