Poll: Israelis Support Continued Gaza Blockade
(IMRA) Ephraim Yaar and Tamar Hermann - A sweeping majority of the Jewish public - 78% - agree that the blockade of Gaza should be continued to pressure Hamas and prevent attacks. Only 17% thought the price in terms of international public opinion was too high, according to the May 2010 War and Peace Index poll conducted June 7-9 for the Evans Program for Conflict Resolution of Tel Aviv University and the Israel Democracy Institute.
