Poll: 46% of Israelis Say Obama Is Pro-Palestinian
(Jerusalem Post) Gil Hoffman - After what was widely described as a "charm offensive" to reach out to Israelis by the Obama administration, a new Smith Research poll conducted this week for the Jerusalem Post found that 10% of Israeli Jews say the administration is pro-Israel, 46% said it was pro-Palestinian, 34% said it was neutral, and 10% gave no opinion. The previous poll in March found that 9% considered the White House pro-Israel, 48% said it was pro-Palestinian, and 30% said it was neutral. In June 2009, 31% considered the Obama presidency pro- Israel and 14% pro-Palestinian.
