Ramallah Building Boom Symbolizes West Bank Growth
(Reuters) Mohammed Assadi - Modern buildings are shooting up all over the West Bank city of Ramallah, which has seen its population double in the last ten years. Developers say property prices have risen by 30% in the last two years. The Palestinian Authority's Palestine Investment Fund last week began work on a $400 million commercial center comprising 13 towers.
