Simple Blood Test Developed in Israel that Diagnoses Cancer
(Jerusalem Post) Judy Siegel-Itzkovich - An innovative, simple blood test that can diagnose a variety of diseases, including cancer, has been developed by researchers at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology and was reported in the Proceedings of the [U.S.] National Academy of Sciences. While current blood tests for cancer merely note whether cancerous cells are still in the blood stream, the new test will be able to differentiate between different kinds of cancers and tumors as well as other diseases.
