Greetings from the Butcher of Baghdad
(Der Spiegel-Germany) Yassin Musharbash - The Zarqawi video is a sensation. For the first time ever, terror mastermind Abu Musab al-Zarqawi shows his face on camera. He's gained weight, seems relaxed, and moves around freely. His supporters are ecstatic. A 34-minute video that an Islamic website made available for downloading Tuesday includes a 15-minute speech by Zarqawi as well as edited footage from the terrorist leader's everyday life. The film offers the first moving pictures of him, with the exception of a bloody video from 2004 in which he beheads American hostage Nicholas Berg. Zarqawi has plain international ambitions. In 2002 he even tried to organize an attack in Germany.
