Sharon Gives Abbas More Time to Curb Mortar Attacks
(Jerusalem Post) Herb Keinon - Prime Minister Sharon adopted the IDF's recommendations Thursday to grant Abbas more time to stop Palestinian mortar fire before Israel takes military action. "We have to give them a few more days," said an Israeli official. Sharon warned Abbas, as well as Egyptian Intelligence Chief Omar Suleiman, that Israel would not sit back if there were casualties and more attacks.
