(Jerusalem Post) Khaled Abu Toameh - The new cabinet is dominated by academics and technocrats - the first time that ministers were not appointed on the basis of their loyalty to Arafat. Most are experts in the field they are to oversee, including a medical doctor, a lawyer, and several engineers. Almost half have doctoral degrees.
