Defense Minister: Demand that Hamas Recognize Israel

(Ha'aretz) Speaking in honor of Israel's Independence Day on Tuesday, Defense Minister Ehud Barak said: "I call on countries of the world, firstly the United States, to demand that Hamas explicitly state that they recognize Israel."
