Israel Approves Jordan Rail Link

[AFP/Yahoo] The Israeli government on Sunday approved an extensive regional cooperation project which includes the creation of a railway linking Jordan to the northern Israeli port of Haifa. Most of the projects will be concentrated in the Jordan Valley and will include the construction of a canal between the Red Sea and the gradually-evaporating Dead Sea.
