The Extermination Speech
(Ha'aretz) Editorial - Israel is subject to a clear and present Iranian danger, and the Iranian president's belief that he can threaten Israel with destruction while continuing to consort with other heads of state and speak at the UN General Assembly is particularly worrisome. Iran supports Hizballah and Palestinian organizations that operate against Israel, but the real problem with the open hatred in Ahmadinejad's remarks is the legitimacy and encouragement that they could grant to all those who choose to fight Israel instead of talking with it.
