Italian PM Rejects Palestinian Unilateral Declaration of Statehood
(Jerusalem Post) Gil Hoffman - Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi reiterated his opposition to UN recognition of a Palestinian state at the General Assembly session in September, following a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Rome on Monday. He also offered to host peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians in Sicily.
