Israel's New UN Ambassador Briefs Jewish Leaders
(Ha'aretz) Shlomo Shamir - Israel's new ambassador to the UN, Ron Prosor, briefed American Jewish leaders on Monday during a meeting with the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations in New York. Prosor said that regardless of the outcome of the UN vote in September, a Palestinian state will not be created and added that the UN is not authorized to dictate borders between countries.
