56 Warnings of Terror Attacks
(Ha'aretz) Amos Harel and Roni Singer - The Shin Bet security service said there were 56 warnings of terror attacks prior to the Jewish holiday of Purim. On Friday, security forces deployed in city centers and places that attract large numbers of people, including shopping centers, markets, and central bus stations. Following information obtained by Tel Aviv police, on Tuesday the security level in the area was raised, but later reduced due to actions carried out by security forces. On Wednesday, Police Commissioner Shlomo Aharonishky said a terror attack had been averted in Tel Aviv.
