U.S. Envoys Press PA to Crack Down on Terror
(AP/Jerusalem Post) American diplomats meeting with PA Prime Minister Qurei in Jericho on Thursday said Israel's plan to pull out of Gaza brings an opportunity to revive an international peace initiative, but future progress would depend on a Palestinian crackdown on terrorists. "We don't see unilateral disengagement as a replacement for the road map. It's a way to jump start the road map," one U.S. official said.
