Iran Welcomes U.S. Navy Rescue Operation

(Washington Post) Thomas Erdbrink - U.S. officials announced Friday that 13 Iranian fishermen were rescued by a Navy destroyer on Thursday, more than 40 days after their boat was commandeered by Somali pirates in the northern Arabian Sea. Iran's Foreign Ministry on Saturday welcomed the rescue.
