Top U.S. General Arrives to Convince Israel to Give Iran Sanctions More Time
(Jerusalem Post) Yaakov Katz - Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, arrived in Israel on Thursday for meetings with Israeli leaders. Dempsey is expected to try and reassure Israel that the Obama administration is committed to stopping Iran's nuclear program, even if it ultimately comes down to using military force. Top U.S. officials have recently said that the U.S. will not allow Iran to build a nuclear weapon.
